Behavior Expectations

1) Respect yourself and others.

2) Be neat and clean.

3) When others are speaking, you are listening.

4) Keep the peace; fighting and profanity are not acceptable.

5) Come to class on time and prepared.

6) Participate in classroom activities, pay attention and do not disrupt the learning process for others.

Consequences

Behavior violations will result in consequences including detention, parent contact and suspension, according to Fels and School District Policies.

Class Room Procedures

1) Hall Passess - Students may not leave the room for any reason, unless it is an emergency. Only Mrs. Riccobono determines what an emergency is. Only TWO students may leave class each day, and each student may only leave the classroom up to two times per week. You must present an ID to get a hall pass, sign out in the log and return the hall pass to me. Passess will not be issued during the first or last ten minutes of a period.

2) Absences - Missed work must be made up in a timely manner. Work that is not made up will recieve a grade of "0." "Do-Now" assignments may not be made up for any reason, even if the absence is excused. (Excused absences include illness of student, school trip or other school event I have approved you attending).

3) Cutting will result in a grade of "0" for any missed assignments, and you will not be permitted to make them up.  If you are marked present on Scholarchip, you should be in class. Trips or other events that I did not approve you attending will result in you being marked cutting for the day. 

4) Lateness to class - you should be in class and seated when the bell rings.  You will not be permitted to make up any work missed due to latenss to class. Detention will be assigned if you are late to class two or more times a week without a pass. If you are more than 5 minutes late for class without an excuse note, per Fels policy I can mark you cutting for the day. 

5) Tutoring / Extra Help - Any student who feels they need extra help should contact me ASAP to arrange for it.  I am not a mind reader! Ask for help if you think you need it. I am happy to arrange a time to stay after school if you ask.

6) Extra Credit - will be given from time to time. It will ONLY be given if you have completed 95% of your class work!
